Choose which orders get automatic invoices
If some orders are invoiced elsewhere, you can now leave their sources out of automatic invoicing. Select one or several detected source groups in Faktwise.
- Your current setup stays unchanged. Existing merchants keep their previous automatic invoicing and email choices. Source selection is optional.
- You choose when changes apply. When saving, choose future orders only or pending unissued work as well. Invoices already issued are not changed.
- A held order can still get an invoice. In Held orders, request an individual invoice and choose whether to email it. Email is off by default. A queued request is not yet an issued invoice.
- Check for missed orders. Eligible recovered orders follow your saved automatic rules. Orders with uncertain history or unselected sources wait visibly for review. Recovery is limited by the order history Shopify lets the app access.
Source groups come from Shopify order data and appear as orders arrive. One group can contain more than one channel: check what belongs to it before selecting it. Faktwise does not import marketplace orders itself. This update adds no tag-based exclusion rule or checkout tax changes.
